Jesus prays for us: “20 I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me
through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that
they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. … 25 O righteous
Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent
me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with
which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:20-21, 25-26, ESV)
In January 2023, we embarked on a New Testament reading plan called “Discover: Life with
Jesus.” This year (2023-24), we will continue to dive deeper into the life of love and unity that is
the hallmark of our relationship with God, and with one another. This fall, we begin with
Ephesians taught by Tim Mackie of The Bible Project. Jesus came to reveal God, his love, and
his purposes to the world, and invites us to participate as children of light. Let’s come together to
live life with Jesus as part of his body, in unity and in love... so that the world may see and know
Jesus. Please, come join us! Let us journey together.

Book of Genesis

Genesis is the book of origins: the origins of the universe, our world, and humankind. It also tells of the
origins of the nation of Israel, through whom God chose to bring His blessing, Jesus Christ, to the world.
Genesis tells the story of sin and God’s plan to repair all relationships: our relationship with God, with
each other, and with creation. Join us for this 24-session deep dive into this interesting book. We will
look at what it meant to those who first read it, what it means for us today, and how to apply it to our
lives.

Book of Revelation

Most of us either (1) avoid Revelation due to intimidation or fear; or (2) are obsessed with every detail.
Although some details remain mysterious and debated, its focus is clear: Revelation reveals how our
sovereign Lord destroys evil, rescues believers, transforms creation, and lives among His people forever.
It is a book of encouragement, hope, and strength for those under persecution or engaging in a world
run amuck. Join us for this 12-session deep dive into this mysterious book. We will look at what it
meant to those who first read it, what it means for us today, and how to apply it to our lives.
