San Diego Rescue Mission

A Christ-centered ministry located in downtown San Diego that is committed to serving the homeless population in our city.  This is a non-profit ministry whose mission is to lovingly address the needs of men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in our city by sharing God’s love and providing a holistic health approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

We partner with this ministry through our monthly financial support and by providing opportunities to help in various events and activities throughout the year.

 Centro Shalom Ministry in Tijuana

We at GPC have been active in supporting this vibrant ministry in Tijuana for a number of years.  Along with our monthly financial support, we also host donation drives, child sponsorships, and provide opportunities to help in various events and activities in Tijuana throughout the year.  One activity we provide each year for the children in Tijuana is our shoebox ministry where we collect shoeboxes with practical items that are given to the children.

Bridge of Hope

A Christ-centered ministry dedicated to strengthening families in transition by coming alongside those in transition to support them through spiritual and practical means.  This vibrant ministry works with predominantly African refugees in the University Heights area of San Diego.  Along with our monthly financial support, we also provide opportunities to help in various events and activities throughout the year.

King Chavez Academy

A school whose students are from the Barrio Logan area in San Diego and downtown.

In order to provide support to their teachers and students, we provide opportunities to help in various events and activities throughout the year.  You are invited to come serve with a team from GPC as we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of the K-2nd grade students and their teachers by serving in their classrooms and their garden club.

4 Community Care

This ministry is a committed group of volunteers providing food, outreach, and assistance to local seniors and families in the Poway community and surrounding communities.  We at GPC, collect food and other items for this ministry throughout the year.

Torrey Pines Senior Living Center

We at GPC have been asked by their staff to provide regular opportunities for their senior residents to attend a short service at their facility where they can enjoy listening to God’s Word and some praise songs.

Medical Missions

Occasionally our church organizes mission trips for our medical professionals to serve needy areas in our city, south of the border, and beyond.

House Building Projects

Occasionally our church sends teams of people to engage in house building projects in needy areas like areas of San Diego, Tijuana Mexico, and beyond.

Turning Point Pregnancy Center

Throughout the year, we offer support and resources for this ministry that offers support for pregnant women and their families.

Along with the above ministries we support and partner with in various ways, 
we also support the following missionaries through prayer and financial support:

Sergio and Nathaly Nascimento who are serving the Sanuma people located in the middle of the Amazon jungle in Brazil.  The village they live in is called Olomai and is located on the banks of the Auaris River, close to the border between Brazil and Venezuela.  

Jim and Sharon Smith are missionaries who are serving in Tijuana, Mexico. 
They are also active in training and encouraging men and women in ministry in different parts of the world. 

Sabrina Tuell is a campus minister at UCSD here in San Diego and an active member of GPC.
She has a heart to love, support, and equip college students to walk with God and discover God’s plans and purposes for their lives.
