KidsPoint & Ignite Ministries 

KidsPoint (Nursery-4th Grades) and Ignite (5-6th Grades) are ministries where kids are encouraged to love God and others, grow into who God calls them to be, be in community, grow in faith and understanding of all that Jesus has done for them, how deeply He loves them, and trust Him with their whole lives.

KidsPoint and Ignite leaders live out and serve through the 5 main KidsPoint and Ignite Values: 

Safety: At KidsPoint, our first value is to ensure that our kids are safe at all times, including their physical safety and their overall well-being, while also considering their mental-health and special and spiritual needs. All leaders have been background checked. 

Biblically-Based Teaching: Our second value is to teach kids the truth of the Bible in engaging and relatable ways. This can be accomplished through traditional teaching styles as well as games, activities, crafts, prayer, events and worship. We rely on God’s Word for all our teachings. 

Love and Relationships: A third value is building relationships with the kids in our programs. This means getting to know our kids and loving them as they are while, at the same time, challenging them to discover and grow into who Christ created them to be. We use positive reinforcement and love at the root of all our instruction.

Spiritual Growth and Discipleship: Another major value is to help our kids grow spiritually in their age-appropriate understanding of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), Scripture, prayer, life in the church, and their purpose in the world. Conversations along the way will help kids make their faith their own. Leaders enjoy being a part of the kids’ lives, intentionally spending time with kids to help them develop a personal genuine faith in Christ.

Fun: A final value is to make Kids’ church fun! This can be achieved by group games and activities, also crafts and ways to earn prizes and Bible Bucks, as well as leaders being their truest selves!
