Women's & Discipleship

About me:

God has graciously allowed me to serve at Grace Point with my husband, Bob, for the last 30 years.  I’m very grateful!  I’ve had opportunities to offer pastoral care, teaching, growth encouragement, and spiritual direction.  My greatest desire is to see God’s Kingdom advance in the lives of women, their families, the church and the world.   I have five great joys: Ryan, Robyn, Seth, Luke and David.

Education:

Bachelors in Psychology Baylor University/ University of Oklahoma; Masters in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Certification in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction

Hobbies:

I like to hike in beautiful places like the beach, canyons, trails and mountains.  Bob and I enjoy biking together.   I do like a good story…either listening to a friend or new acquaintance tell me their story, or reading a good book, or watching a movie. I love to have fun with friends and family playing games or figuring out escape rooms. I am also in a season of life where I am trying new things…any suggestions?

A Favorite Bible Verse:

Recently Ephesians 4:14-21 has been meaningful and full of hope to me.  It says,  14 When I think of all this (what God has done for us in Christ), I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
