Welcome to Grace Point Church!

If you are new to church in general or just to GPC, we are glad you are checking us out!  We look forward to making your visit with us a good one!  We know how awkward it is to visit somewhere and not know the "in's" and "out's" that regular attenders take for granted.  We hope the following questions and answers will help you feel more comfortable.

A good first step is to visit one of our services on a Sunday morning.  Currently, you can watch us from home or you can join us on campus and sit inside our auditorium or outside in our courtyard. Masks are optional.  We have two service times to choose from: 8:45am and 10:45am.

Here is what our Children's Ministry and Student Ministry services are currently doing on Sundays.

If you have any other questions that you would like us to address before or after visiting, please don't hesitate to call us at (858) 481-0424 or e-mail us at

We look forward to welcoming you to Grace Point!

"Frequently Asked Questions" About Visiting GPC:

You probably have questions about what to expect as you check out our church for the first time. The purpose for our website, or a possible visit or a phone chat with you is to remove the "guess work" and "surprises" so you can relax, know what to expect, and enjoy your time with us.

What do I wear?

Come as you are. Whether you feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, shorts, a skirt, or slacks, at Grace Point you will find people like you.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

You don't need to bring a Bible to come to church, but we do encourage it. One of our desires is to help you and others become more comfortable reading and studying the Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, we would be glad to give you one. Free Bibles are available to at the back of our auditorium.

How long does church last?

Services start on time (8:45am and 10:45am) and last about an hour and fifteen minutes. Before or after the services, you may enjoy taking some additional time in our courtyard and have some refreshments. We also have a playground for your kids to enjoy themselves and a student ministry building for your teens.

What is your music like?

Each Sunday service starts with some great music. We sing to show God how grateful we are to Him and to ask Him for help in our daily lives. It's like an engaging concert where most people sing along. You are invited to sing with us (words are provided on screens), but you are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the music.

What you will find at Grace Point Church:

  • A casual and comfortable atmosphere - no gimmicks

  • Friendly people - who enjoy meeting new people

  • Music that is positive, intentional, and contemplative - to listen to or join in on

  • Messages that make sense - real help from the Bible for everyday life

  • A great kids program - you can relax knowing they're safe and hearing good stuff

What about my kids?

We are committed to provide safe, high-quality programs that kids enjoy. While you relax in the worship service, your kids will be having their own positive experience. We often hear that  many kids have so much fun they are somewhat reluctant to leave.  Your kids are also more than welcome to stay with you during our services.  For more information about our children’s ministry and student ministry click on our ‘Ministries’ Section.

We also provide a “Mommy and Me Nursery Room” that is in the back of our auditorium and adjacent to our main women’s bathroom. This room is available for nursing moms or moms who need to take care of an infant's needs. As you can see what is happening in our service, the audio is played in the room, so you won't miss a thing!
